How Phase 3 Affects Your Event

Deciphering the COVID-19 phases and what it means for your event can be very confusing and we're right there with you! Our staff is breaking down the most recent executive order paragraph by paragraph to help you understand what it means for your event.

In the most recent executive order, which goes into effect Friday, October 2nd at 5 pm, a lot has changed for event venues. While the mass gathering limit remains 25 people indoors, and 50 people outdoors there are exemptions for event venues. As of tomorrow, "movie theaters, meeting spaces, and entertainment venues" which includes ("meeting spaces, meeting or reception venues, and any other entertainment facilities") are allowed to have 100 people or 30% of stated fire capacity, whichever is less. There are a couple of additional restrictions, which are pretty similar to the restaurant guidelines we have become familiar with. Tables must remain six feet apart and guests must remain seated except to use the restroom and to get food or drink and masks are still required to be worn when not eating or drinking. This means no dancing or cocktail style events for the time being.

But let's focus on the positive! At Paramount Event Venue, we are excited to invite you back for any event with a capacity of 100 people. Our staff is prepared with hand sanitizer, extra masks, and disinfectant to make you and your guests comfortable and safe. We also have multiple outdoor spaces and a meeting hall with an attached patio to make sure you have plenty of fresh air. Whether you need a space for your wedding, baby shower, birthday, or just a spot to finally have that in person meeting so that your coworkers can reconnect, our experienced staff is here for you. Schedule a tour today!
